I am an information security specialist and interested in IT security since 1998. I am also an open source software developer and since 2003 I write books and articles about the Linux operating system as well as about network security. Occasionally I also give talks.

Areas of interest: security, administration and programming of Linux/Unix/BSD systems, computer networks (everthing >=layer 2 in TCP/IP modell), TCP/IP itself, network security, covert channels, security engineering. In addition to computer science I am interested in cultural studies.
