Today I finished the work on WendzelNNTPd-1.4.4. This release includes primary bug fixes of the graphical user interface.

1.4.4-stable Changelog (19-Sep-2009):
 FIXES:
 - GUI: The Qt GUI WendzelNNTPd still used the old rss-output syntax
   of the configuration file instead of output-xml-*.
 - GUI: Check fread() return value when reading the config file.
 - GUI: compile script needs to check for ../../Makefile.inc to pre-
   vent an empty CONFDIR value if Makefile.inc does not exist (this
   occours if someone tries to build the GUI before running configure).
 ADDED FEATURES:
 - 'wendzelnntpadm delete ' now deletes all postings that
   are associated with this newsgroup only(!) too as well as all
   association entries of the newsgroup in the table ngposts.
 - 'make install' now installs the documentation files too.
 - Added a new 'verbose-mode' config file keyword. If set, all log
   strings are written to stderr too. This is useful for debugging
   and testing. GUI extension to handle 'verbose-mode' was also
   implemented.
 MISC:
 - GUI: improved adjustment of elements
 - Added a HISTORY file
 - Tiny code cleanup was done; tiny_doc.txt added (lists internal
   functions I don't wan't to forget)
 - Added a README file that includes the URL to the documentation
